Whoops....I put all my pictures on a separate drive...and it's upstairs....and I'm tired! Sorry...no pictures for this post. :(
Tonight was a sweet Mother/Daughter sort of thing. BUT...as I've professed on more than one occasion (and hate to admit, because some actually think it!) I'm failing as a mother! I got the VH1 memo...just today!
McKelle and I were watching VH1's 100 greatest artist. As it got to the REALLY good ones, Duran Duran, Def Leopard, AC/DC, Elton John, Genesis, Aretha Franklin...THE BEATLES!.....I could go on and on. I would ask "do you know them?" On ALL accounts the answer was "NO"!................. OH MY WORD!!!!!!!
Then we had the following conversation!
Me: "I have failed you McKelle...you should know all these people...at least some!"
McKelle: "it's okay, you're just stuck in the 70's and 80's"
Me: "I'll have you know that a 14 year old told me, unsolicited, that I had really cool music!"
McKelle: deer in headlights "well, you don't have dynamite"
Me:....got on my phone...downloaded it and turned to her "there....what else ya got?!"
SO! It's on! itunes will be VERY happy with me in the next little while. My kids will know the greats....most were freaks....but they were brilliant freaks! AND I salute you!!!!
And FYI.....being told I'm stuck in the 8o's....not an insult! ;) They were good to me!

dont feel bad Taylor thinks that about me to, but then she gets mad because all her friends think I am so cool and they want to hang around me. So I can't win. lol
Oh you need to download Jessie's Girl...remember that one?! And being stuck in the 80's is all fine and dandy as long as you have that hair under control! hahahahahaha
