I had a mommy pay day today, and I'm not gonna lie, I was shocked as hell!
Jason had mentioned to me this morning during our work-out that Sam had asked if he could do FHE yesterday. He's asked before and then just gave us that deer in headlights look and well....I would do FHE.
But, we give our children chance after chance right?! So when he got home from school I mentioned what Jason had said. I got an enthusiastic "yea, is that ok?!" I was glad to be leaning up against a wall because you could have blown me over with a feather!!! "uh.....YEA it's ok, what are you doing it on?" Sam: "honesty"....last thing I thought he'd pick.
We had dinner and made cupcakes for FHE treat and then waited till 7 because a friend of Sam's wanted to come over.....he'd never experienced an FHE (he's been a member for about a year?!...that's another post).
We sang, prayed and turned the time over to Sam.
He did SOOOOOOO great! He had it all written out. He had scriptures and even naturally put in "I was reading 'For the Strength of Youth and found this interesting"....I almost cried! And he didn't just do the "don't lie", he put in the don't cheat, do your best and what happens to our souls when we do cheat, lie or are dishonest.
I was just soo soo proud and pleased!!!! I loved hearing his testimony, and without coaxing.
So it was a good FHE....MOMMY GOT PAID!!!! ;) Phew....my 'bank' was getting low! ;)

WOW!.... WOW!..... WOW! That is soooooooo awesome. I was just listenting to a conference talk by Larry Gibson about a deacon and how serious he took his new calling as qorum president. I thought of Sam and Ben. It was awesome.

I love those moments! It gives me the amp I need to keep doing what I'm doing! That's awesome that you got a piece of what you do! Keep it up. Our time with them is short (I didn't believe that until Derrek left...and now he is paying me in more ways than I can imagine!). Love you guys!
